About Us
Joe and I met on Aug30/2003 uptown. When I first saw him I thought he was geekish and he thought I had a "cute voice" lol.
He asked my friend to ask me to go out with him, but I said that I wanted to date him first and wouldn't just go out with him. So on Aug 31st we had our first date. It wasn't magnificent but rather simple. We went to the playground near my house and sat and talked for awhile. He walked me home and then again asked me to go out with him...I finally said yes. We've been together ever since! We have both matured alot and we have endured alot as a couple. There have been times where it has seemed that the bad has outweighed the good...but as time has gone on and we have learned more about eachother things continue to get better!
The Proposal
On Oct. 30/2006, I skipped my afternoon chemistry class and Joe and I went out to the mall. While there I tried on the engagement ring I've been looking at for awhile, and Joe decided he wanted to get it for me. I knew how impulsive Joe can be, so I knew I would get the ring that night because he is no good at surprises! :P
Shortly after we got home, he went into the computer room and called me in...(I tried to play it dumb but I knew what was going on) He put on our song "I'll be" by edwin mccain, got down on one knee and proposed....then he got up and we danced to the song.. :P
It definitely wasn't how I always pictured it would happen, but oh well...it was special and I wouldn't change it.
