Q: I was wondering: do we have to pay the travel cost/hotel/airfare/food for my bridesmaids if the wedding is out of province? I am paying for their outfits, shoes and accessories.
A: Usually if the wedding is out of town the bridal party is responsible for paying for their own attire plus their transportation to and from the wedding. The bride and groom in most cases pay for the bridal party accommodations. However, it’s important to make your party members aware of any costs you’d like them to cover in your initial invitation. This way they can make an informed decision about whether it’s something that’s financial feasible for them.
