Location, location, location

Q: My fiancé and I both live in a city that is closer to my family and our bridal party. His family lives about five hours away from us. We are trying to decide where to have our wedding. Should we have it where we live (which would be easier to plan) or should we have it somewhere in between the two families?

A: You should have your wedding where you want to have it. Research and visit many different locations in the areas you are thinking about having your wedding and then decide which one is best for you. Both your families are probably willing to travel to attend your wedding so location is not as big of a factor as you may think.
