Since there won’t be another triple digit wedding date for another 1,000 years, we thought having a contest where one lucky couple would win a wedding on this iconic day was a fabulous idea. As we speak, our team is en route to the beautiful Dreams Villamagna in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico to meet with our contest winners Monica Duguay and Mathieu Vienneau from Moncton, New Brunswick, who will be eloping in a romantic sunset 12/12/12 wedding. Here’s Monica and Mathieu’s winning 12/12/12 wedding contest entry:
“Matt and I fell in love when we were really young and have been happily together ever since. We both desperately want to get married and have been engaged for a very long time. Coming from broken families with little money, planning a wedding seems so impossible.
We have attempted to plan a wedding in the past, but it was very overwhelming and we ended up giving up. At the end of the day, we love each other and want to make it official. Having been together for over nine years, we want to begin our own family and would like to be married before doing so. We strongly believe in marriage and it is important to us. We debated going the courthouse route a few times, but because it will be the happiest moment of our lives, we want something more for our day.
Winning this amazing contest would mean the world and more to us. It would be a dream come true, in a very spectacular way.”
