Beach BBQ
The classic DW reception dinner is an outdoor beach BBQ. It’s fun, casual and in the spirit of the location. Often said brides and grooms are seeking the most unique and “different” things to do for their wedding (and I’m always all for unique), but sometimes it’s just worth sticking with something that works. The tried, tested and true expression does ring true in this instance. So why make it hard on yourself? 
Go ahead and utilize the beauty of your natural setting and eat al fresco (or under a tent)! Unless the weather tells you otherwise, part of the point of getting married away in a tropical location is to enjoy the outdoors. Just imagine a feast of fresh fish, grilled shrimp, steak or chicken …. and any other grilled goodies that tempt your tummy. Yum ditty! And the best sides are a mix of fresh salads. Use local ingredients and put together a spread of delicious and fun food. No matter how delicious and lovely a formal meal can be, there’s something just perfect about this style of reception.
