Inspired by the elegant French seaside resort of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat in springtime, with its magnificent villas, tranquil gardens and pastel-colored surroundings, Romona Keveza’s Spring 2013 couture collection is the embodiment of refined luxury. The designs play with sumptuous ivories, pearl, white, ice blue, and there is even a gown in signature “Romona Red.” Intricate details like hand-beading, Swarovski crystal-embellished belts, illusion-scalloped necklines, couture-ruched silhouettes, and dramatically sculpted origami flowers add to the overall appeal of this stunning collection.

Photos From Bridal Fashion Week: Junko Yoshioka Spring 2013

Japanese designer Junko Yoshioka is known for her elegant modern silhouettes and avant garde embellishments. Yoshioka’s Spring 2013 collection was inspired by was inspired by the fluttering feathers of spring and this showed through in the lightly-textured fabrics, appliquéd lace details and abundance of layering. Classic shapes were enhanced by exquisite fabrics and embellishments while lace was coupled with intricate bead work and shown in both white and blush tones.

For her latest collection Claire Pettibone drew inspiration from family heirlooms such as antique fabrics, golden lockets and fine china to create a beautiful line with timeless appeal. Lace features prominently within the vintage-inspired collection as do intricate embroidery and pretty, detailed sashes.

Elizabeth Fillmore, always a favourite with the style set, presented a stunning Spring 2013 collection inspired by (and perfect for) garden weddings. Blossoms, budding branches and vines accented gowns delicately crafted using guipure lace, silk, chiffon and laser-cut satin and adorned with intricate beadwork as well as vintage-inspired floral embroideries. Signature bias sheathes echo 1930’s elegance re-envisioned with a dreamy quality that’s distinctly Fillmore’s own.

Known for his ultra-flattering conceptual gowns, Venezuelan designer Angel Sanchez once again let his creativity run wild on the runways presenting a host of interesting textures, shapes and embellishments within his Spring 2013 collection. Dainty feathers, shimmering paillettes and asymmetrical peplums, were among the inventive adornments showcased within the most recent collection, which Sanchez says he created for the bride who wants a modern take on a classic gown.
