Inside the Twilight Wedding

If you’re a fan of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, the wedding of Bella and Edward is the event of the year (besides your own wedding, of course), and all the juicy details will be revealed on screen in Breaking Dawn, Part 1, which hits theatres today! We’re dying to see Bella’s wedding dress (designed by none other than Carolina Herrera), but no pictures have surfaced on the Internet—yet. In the mean time, here’s what we could find—a closer look at the incredible setting for the ceremony and some of the celebration’s elegant details. We hope this gets you in the mood for movie night (and wedding planning, for that matter!).

Alfred Angelo to Manufacture Twilight Wedding Dress

Good news for Twilight fans: Alfred Angelo will be reproducing Bella Swan’s wedding dress this fall as part of a new line called Twilight Bridal by Alfred Angelo! Following the release of Breaking Dawn Part 1 on November 18th, a replica of the dress worn by Kristen Stewart in the film will hit stores. The dress will be priced in the same range as Alfred Angelo’s other styles and will be available in a wide range of sizes (from 0 to 30W). Bella’s actual wedding dress in the movie is by designer Carolina Herrera, but the appearance of the dress has been kept under wraps. You can, however, catch some glimpses of Bella’s veil, crystal hair comb and engagement ring in the official trailer (watch here).

Yes Twihards, it’s today. Eclipse hits theatres and by all accounts is the best film of the lot. Can’t wait to see it…we have an office group outing planned for next week. The premiere for the film was last week and the red carpet garnered almost as much buzz as the film. My pick for most beautiful vamp went to Bryce Dallas Howard—I loved everything about her look, particularly her gorgeous hair that was the perfect example of ‘undone glamour.’ This look is perfect for a bridal ‘do and stylist-to-the-stars hair guru David Babaii spilled the secrets of how he created Bryce’s Bridget Bardot-inspired look using products from Moroccanoil. Bella’s Engagement Ring

One week from today the third installment of Twilight hits theatres. Part of the storyline includes Edward’s proposal to Bella — so what kind of ring would a vampire give to his love? In the book, Stephenie Meyer describes it as: “The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold — delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.” According to Instyle.com Meyer sent her sketch to Portland-based jeweller Rick Thurber to design the exact ring she envisioned, as the antique versions that the prop stylist found weren’t good enough. If you love the idea of an antique engagement ring, it’s totally possible to get your own version of Bella’s through Infininte Jewelry Co.. There are three versions available from the “fashion” ring, which retails for $59, up to the “genuine” diamond one for $1,999 (all prices in USD). Plus all come in white and yellow gold.

I (like so many other females) got totally Twilight crazed this year. There was just so much buzz about the books and the movie that I had to check it out! And let me tell you, it’s like I got hypnotized into the world of Edward and Bella. I couldn’t put down the books and was totally frantic when some of them were sold out—I started travelling from bookstore to bookstore looking for them like an addict who needed a fix.
