Romantic Wedding Cakes

This week I’ve been surrounded by the most GORGEOUS cakes and flowers you could possibly imagine. Unfortunately, I can’t share those inspiring images with you until the magazine hits stands in July. But, if you’d like a sneak peek do follow us on Twitter and keep an eye out for all my little teasers and behind-the-scenes photos. In the meantime, I’m happy that I can share with you these amazing cakes that landed in my e-mail over the weekend. Fabulous aren’t they? Roxy from Roxycakes, who’s known for her gorgeous sculpted cakes and elegant confections, definitely stole my breath away with, yet again, another pretty set of wedding cakes. Enjoy!

DIY: Sweet Series Part 4 of 5

For those of you who don’t know the proper term, these bite-size cakes are actually called Petits Fours–in French it’s translated into small or little oven. DIY: Sweet Series Part 1 of 5

Earlier this morning I wrote that we had a secret guest blogger who would be showcasing some fun and easy DIY sweet options. Right now, I’m happy to reveal that our secret guest blogger for the week is (drum roll please!) Roxanne Wickwire from Roxycakes. A few weeks ago, we both obsessed over how much we loved Bakerella and her DIY ideas. As we discussed our love for sweet treats, Roxy and I came to the conclusion that we should definitely cook up some bridal-worthy creations for you ladies. Easy, pretty and delicious was our mission.
