Rocky Mountain “I Dos”
My name is Amy Higdon and I am marrying my best friend Ryan Mullens on September 18, 2010. I know most people say they marry their best friend, but I believe Ryan and I have a very unique friendship and love.
Ryan and I met back in 2002 at Mount Royal College. We were in “Introduction to Computers,” a really boring class we had to take as a part of our Criminology degree. Ryan passed me a modem in class and at that moment he became my best friend. We did everything together. We were in the same classes; went on trips; learned guitar; attended family functions and we graduated from college together. We even went into the child and youth care field together, and worked together. Ryan and I both have dedicated our lives since college to counseling youth who are faced with abuse, prostitution, drugs, homelessness and many other issues.
