Inspired by the fascinator trend that took off after The Royal Wedding? If so you’re going to love Parant, a Swedish company that crafts some of the most breathtaking hair adornments we’ve ever seen. Parant is the brainchild of Örjan Jakobsson who started out as a hairdresser in Stockholm. After styling many brides he discovered there was a lack of beautiful hair accessories to play up his carefully crafted coifs. Örjan therefore decided to channel his creativity into creating his own handmade pieces. Starting at $200 and available for order via the company’s website, we’re pretty sure you’ll have a hard time deciding which piece you like best.
What do the Duchess of Cambridge, Kerry Washington, Elle Fanning, Angelina Jolie, Mandy Moore, Jennifer Lopez and Dita Von Teese all have in common? Why, they’re major fans of Brit fashion designer Jenny Packham, of course. Known recently for her gorgeous frocks seen on the Duchess of Cambridge–this talented lady has captivated the whole world with her fab creations. A longtime bridal dress designer, Packham’s gowns are some of the dreamiest and most romantic dresses we’ve seen–which is why we were excited to learn about her latest launch: wedding headdresses. The price is steep, but if you’re looking to splurge on a one-of-a-kind sparkly accessory (perhaps fulfill that ‘something new’) then take a peek at Packham’s newest line, which is sure to wow.

I love to use lots of interesting bits of vintage this and that to add whimsy and magic, some of the vintage items used have been handpicked by me in the flea markets of France. I incorporate my own aesthetic when creating these flowers and as a result they are not “perfect” factory made looking pieces, they are all individual and have their own character and quirks, hope you like them too!
