I thought it’d be nice to have a little fun today. I saw a posting the other day on the most romantic movie kisses of all-time and thought I’d bring it to you girls. In Hollywood, enduring marriages are as rare as au naturel celebs over the age of 40, so the 34 years between Patrick Swayze and wife Lisa Niemi was such a breath of fresh air. I’m still in shock that Patrick Swayze aka Johnny Castle is really gone. In honour of his passing, I thought it’d only be appropriate to post the famous Time of Your Life dance scene–which happened to be mimicked by a wedding couple out in London (can be seen here). There’s something about hearing the soundtrack song to Dirty Dancing that makes me happy. So, when I went onto YouTube to listen to it, I was pleasantly surprised to find this really neat idea instead. A couple from the UK had decided to use ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’ as their first dance song, but with a twist. Instead of the casual swaying from side to side, they decided to replicate the exact same dance moves seen at the end of the movie.
