Day 55: Kate Middleton’s Fave Dessert

Earlier on in the countdown we blogged about Will’s fave dessert, banana flan, and the potential of this sweet treat being on the wedding menu. Now it seems we’ve been privy to Kate’s favourite treat: Sticky Toffee Pudding. These two certainly love their home-spun desserts, and we’ve LOVING that fact. This year (and last!) we’ve noticed a shift towards wedding dessert tables filled with all your homemade-like goodness from s’mores to chocolate chip cookies to apple pie–looks like Kate and Will are right on trend. More Valentine’s Day Treats

As Valentine’s Day approaches (have you been following our 14-day countdown to heart day by the way?) my inbox has been nothing but flooded with shades and visions of red, pink, treats and hearts galore. From romantic fragrances to sexy lingerie, it’s pretty much been nonstop ever since Christmas commenced. One sweet shop in particular caught my eye, The Designer Cookie who’s e-news slogan is ‘Valentine’s Day Has Never Been Sweeter’–and I completely agree. Looking at their mouth-watering cupcakes, well, let’s just say I can’t stop obsessing over them. Here are five nifty ideas from The Designer Cookie to give your mister, bridal party, friends, or, hey, even yourself, in honour of St. Valentine and all things love. Enjoy!

According to People.com, Darren McGrady, Princess Diana’s former chef, revealed that of all the delicious desserts banana flan topped Prince William’s list of favourite food. Craving Butter Tarts?

A Weddingbells Shower
