A Rustic Vintage Wedding in Whistler, British Columbia
Wedding date: September 10, 2011
Wedding theme: Rustic/Vintage
Guests: 115
Budget: $15,000
Best moment: “Coming in on the row boat to the reception; in the pictures it looked really romantic, but really I was nagging at Will that he was rowing too slow. We still laugh about it,” says Erin
Favourite detail: “The band, Murphy’s Laugh — a great Irish band,” recalls Erin.
Wedding song: “Honeybee” by Blake Shelton. “It was the song that we played when we walked back down the isle. Will had to go away for seven months for work and he surprised me three days before he was supposed to come home, wearing his cowboy hat and boots, flowers in hand and that song playing. I still can’t make it through that song without welling up,” says Erin.
Honeymoon: “We had two – for the first one, we drove down the Oregon coast to California and went on wine tours. The second honeymoon we spent in Puerto, Mexico with friends and family,” explains Erin.
