How they met: “We were introduced by our fathers,” explains Angela. “My father Mike worked for Exhibition Place and the Liberty Grand, and Anthony’s father Pat’s company owns the Liberty Grand. The Exhibition Place was under construction at the time so my dad was always around the Liberty Grand and got to know Anthony’s dad really well. When my great-grandfather passed away, Pat attended the viewings; there he noticed that his friend Mike had a daughter. Pat had a son, so they decided to be match makers. From there, we went on a blind date to dinner and a Leaf’s game and 10 years later we got married.”

Engagement story: “We were in Italy on a vacation when Anthony proposed,” Angela recalls. “Anthony had a customized wine label created for wine that was from the vineyard that we stayed at while in Tuscany. We were in his home town in the mountains and Anthony suggested we have some wine. He presented me with this wine bottle that said “Angela, Will You Marry Me” with a ring in his hand. Of course I said yes!”
