Best moment: “The thing I loved about our wedding was that every moment of it was meaningful and beautiful. At the end of the reception, everyone lined up with sparklers to see us off. I thought that was pretty magical,” says Chriseli.

Favourite detail: “Although I absolutely adore all the DIY’s that our family and friends did for the wedding, it meant a lot to me that my Mom created the majority of the symbolic items we used for the Filipino wedding rituals,” explains Chriseli.

Wedding song: “Laendler” from The Sound of Music. “We had our first dance to this song. We learned the choreography based from the movie. One of our first trips outside the continent was Austria, and what better way to reminisce than through dance. And besides, who doesn’t like The Sound of Music?” says Chriseli.

Honeymoon: Road trip through Scotland and England, then to Geneva and Paris
