Best moment: “The most emotional part of our day was saying our vows and becoming husband and wife, but one of the funniest parts of the day was taking photos at sunset out on the docks, because as we came inside we realized there was a mouse trap, complete with dead mouse attached to my wedding dress,” says Kelly.

Favourite detail: “My favourite wedding details were the surfboard guestbook and starfish accents,” explains Kelly.

Wedding song: “The One I Love” by David Gray. “It was one of those songs that always popped up on a playlist or on the radio during special or romantic moments throughout our relationship,” says Kelly. “When it came time to choose our first dance song, it felt like the right choice.”

Honeymoon: Italy and the Mediterranean for three weeks. Then we embarked on a two-week cruise visiting Greece, Turkey, Croatia and Montenegro.
