Best moment: “During dinner we had arranged for Chinese dragon dancers to come in and surprise our guests,” says Aubri. “Everyone was shocked and amazed at the beauty and loud drumming. For some, it was the first time they had ever seen anything like that.”

Favourite detail: “My favourite wedding detail was the cake,” explains Aubri. “I spent hours searching for the perfect pieces of the puzzle and then many more hours making that puzzle come together. The ruffled bottom was the most time-consuming and I couldn’t feel my fingers for days after. Of course, the cute ninja cake toppers were the perfect finishing touch.”

Wedding song: “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry but performed by Boyce Avenue. “I had never paid attention to the words and the first few lines encapsulate our relationship perfectly, so I knew it was a natural choice for my walk down the aisle,” explains Aubri.

Honeymoon: Another trip to Europe, but this time to Morocco, Spain and Portugal.
