How they met: “We met playing baseball,” explains April.

Engagement story: “Dani, our three friends and I drove down to Seattle on October 2nd 2010 for a Seattle Mariners game,” April recalls. “Just before the game Dani put on a Seattle Mariners jersey that had ‘Marry Me?’ and my number, 23, on the back. Dani did it before the game, knowing that I would be mortified in front of an audience, and my first thought was that they were playing a trick on me, so I yelled no several times, before Dani had to turn around and tell me she was serious. I read the back of the Jersey and gladly said ‘yes’. My next question was ‘where did you get this jersey and why don’t I have one?’”
