How they met: “We met on the Internet in 2007,” explains Kimberly.

Engagement story: “In September 2009, Matt and I decided to treat ourselves to a vacation in Maui,” Kimberly recalls. “Matt wanted to take me up to the top of the Haleakala Crater to watch the sunrise. Matt had heard that Mark Twain had once described sunrise at the summit of Haleakala as the sublimest spectacle he ever witnessed. I agreed and early on the morning of September 8th we drove all the way up to the summit to watch the sunrise. As the sun came up Matt got down on one knee and proposed.”
