A Modern Vintage Wedding In Vancouver
About the couple
Bride: Tracey Boisvert
Groom: Parambir Singh Bhangu
How they met: “While living in Toronto, my roommate Alison (one of my bridesmaids) was dating Parambir’s good friend Steve, one of the groomsmen,” explains Tracey. “We would often find ourselves meeting up in social situations and quite quickly sparks flew and our feelings developed beyond friendship!”
Engagement story: “After dating for three years, Parambir accepted a job offer in Vancouver BC, so he and I decided to pack up our lives in Toronto and head across the country to the beautiful west coast,” Tracey recalls. “Parambir started his new job immediately and moved to Vancouver alone at first. He would visit me, while I was still in Toronto, on weekends, until we could move into our new home in Vancouver, a couple of months later. On one such weekend, he surprised me with a trip to Langdon Hall Country House in Cambridge, Ontario. After a romantic walk across the stunning grounds, and a beautiful candlelit meal, Parambir proposed beneath a one hundred year-old tree on the terrace. We both cried, because the moment was just magic. It was an amazing weekend.”
