How they met: “I have known Will for a long time, but my friend Trish that I went to high school with and his friend Jeff that he went to high school with, set us up,” says Janelle. “Trish and Jeff started inviting us out to places with them to try and play matchmaker, and it worked. We hit it off and had a lot of fun together.”

Engagement story: “Will proposed to me in November of 2010,” Janelle recalls. “Will and his eight-year-old daughter Abby asked me together while I was in the bathroom putting on my make-up. I was getting ready to go out for a nice dinner. They definitely caught me off guard. It was really cute because he was sweating and Abby completely froze and didn’t remember what she was suppose to say. They had rehearsed that he would ask me to be his wife and she would ask me to be her stepmom, but she completely froze and just stared at me; it was sweet. I of course said ‘yes!’”
