How they met: “We first met at the Empire Grill where we were both waiting tables,” explains Elizabeth. “We were friends for years before taking the next step.”

Engagement story: “We had just finished six months of renovations on our first home,” Elizabeth recalls. “We had just had the first snowfall of the season and Kristian ushered me outside by the lake to see all of what we had accomplished. The sun broke through the clouds and was beating down on us like a spotlight, snow glistening all around us. He then got down on one knee and popped the big question.”
