Favourite detail: “Our favourite wedding detail were the centrepieces, explains Catherine. “Dave and I made pottery vases and candle holders with the help of his aunt who is a potter. They were cut out like mountain tops and had holes cut like leaves to let the light of the candles out. We filled the taller ones with daisies and pine branches.”

Wedding song: “Love Never Fails” by Brandon Heath. “The words of the song are so fitting and it has such a beautiful melody,” says Catherine.

Honeymoon: Two days at Chateau Lake Louise, two days in Radium at the Big Horn Resort, and then the Dominican Republic at the Ocean Blue Resort in Punta Cana for 11 days.
