How they met: “Doug and I met when we were 14 years old in Air Cadets, but we were good friends for about 5 years before we started dating,” explains Chelsea.

Engagement story: “On Valentine’s Day Doug took me out for a fancy dinner in downtown Ottawa, and then afterwards we took a walk in a park overlooking the Rideau Canal and Parliament,” Chelsea recalls. “Once we reached the top of a small hill Doug got down on one knee and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him, of course I said yes!”
