How they met: “We met as students in the Creative Writing MFA program at the University of British Columbia,” explains Kellee.

Engagement story: “We usually celebrate Christmas in several cities with different family members, so we set aside the morning of the 24th for the two of us to have brunch and exchange presents,” Kellee recalls. “On Christmas Eve of 2010, Ben put together a scavenger hunt for me. He had hidden clues around our apartment; each clue led to a present. I was doing a terrible job of figuring them out until the last clue that led to Ben in the living room, down on one knee with the ring in his hand.”
