Best moment: “Hearing the after-dinner speeches from the wedding party,” says Michael. “Dominic, the best man, is a naturally charismatic guy and he had the entire hall in stitches with his renditions of what it was like growing up with Jesse as a brother.”

Favourite detail: “My favourite wedding detail was having live music both at the ceremony and the reception,” explains Michael. It was one of Jesse’s only requests for the wedding and it really added so much depth and emotion to the day. As music was how Jesse and I initially connected too, it seemed to bring everything full circle.”

Wedding song: “Arran Boat Song” which is a traditional Celtic song. “It’s a beautiful melody and seemed very appropriate,” says Michael.

Honeymoon: A two-week cruise to Iceland, then to Ireland and lastly England.
