How they met: “Yukichi and I met in Hamburg when we joined the Hamburg Ballet in 1999. We didn’t start dating until 2003 when we were cast as partners together in the creation of John Neumeier’s Winterisse,” explains Galien.

Engagement story: “Galien and I got engaged on our fifth anniversary of being together in Prague. It was a beautiful evening with a wonderful dinner, but the proposal took place in our hotel room afterwards,” Yukichi recalls.
