How they met: “We met through friends at church,” Erin says. “I was 20 and Mac was 18 and still in high school. Mac thought I was out of his league. Once he graduated, I started noticing what a babe he was. One day some of our friends went boating and forgot to invite us so we decided to have a day of fun and went to Science World! We’ve been together ever since.”

Engagement story: “We went up to Cultus Lake as we do most weekends in the summer. I was grumpy because I had just had my eyes checked and my pupils were dilated so I couldn’t wear my contacts, and couldn’t see. Mac wanted to go for a walk (Mac NEVER wants to go for walks at Cultus) and I was suspicious but still grumpy. Mac wouldn’t let me stand on his right side and he wouldn’t take off his jacket (in the summer!) He was sweating PROFUSELY. We walked out to a private dock where Mac proposed,” Erin recalls.
