Bride: Setareh Saeed

How they met: “We met on a random trip to Cuba in December 2005. We were a group of seven people, some of whom knew each other while others didn’t. We basically met in the airport and fell in love in Cuba,” says Setareh.

Engagement story: “It was September 20, 2010, I was in the middle of doing laundry and Gabriel filled the condo full of bouquets of flowers,” explains Setareh. “When I asked why he went through all of the trouble, he told me ‘just because I love you.’ We went outside and sat in the sun and he started telling me how lucky he was to have me, and that he would do anything in the world to make me happy, along with other beautiful promises. He hugged me and when he pulled back he had the engagement ring in his hand and asked me to marry him.”
