How they met: “We met in the summer of 2004 through mutual friends at a get-together in Victoria,” says Heather.
Engagement story: “In 2008 we were home from university for Christmas and were staying at my parents’ house for the holidays,” Heather recalls. “Jesse gave me my gift in private. Inside a big box stuffed with paper was an envelope. He had written a very sweet note and it finished with “turn around.” When I did, I found Jesse kneeling behind me with a ring in his hand.”
