How they met: “We lived on the same floor in residence during our first year of university. We were friends for a few years, and began dating in our last year of school,” says Carly.
Engagement story: “We were nearing the end of our vacation in Nova Scotia. We had to return to Halifax earlier than expected because they were predicting a hurricane the next day and we didn’t want to get stranded. We managed to find a hotel room with a nice balcony overlooking the water and were outside enjoying the sunset. Brennan disappeared into the room for a minute and when he came back out he was holding a little box and asked me to marry him,” explains Carly.
