How they met: “We had gone to school together since elementary but didn’t start dating until high school. We’ve been together ever since,” says Amanda.

Engagement story: “We were on vacation and on our second last evening at the resort Zach decided we should take a walk along the beach after supper,” recalls Amanda. “I was enjoying our sunset stroll along the water when Zach suddenly stopped, stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I didn’t think anything was out of the ordinary because Zach has been known to have a romantic side. Although, after a few short moments I could feel his heart jumping out of his chest against my back. Before I could register what might be coming next, he was on one knee, telling me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Of course, I accepted.”
