Bride: Emily Devereaux

Groom: Dustin Devereaux

How they met: “We met in grade six. We started dating in high school and did long distance through university. We have been together for more than 10 years now,” says Emily.

Engagement story: “Dustin planned to propose during the meteor shower in August of last year. We were down in Waterton and of course it stormed like crazy that night,” recalls Emily. “He decided to improvise a back-up plan, and the next day he hand painted the inside of our tent with glow in the dark stars. He brought me inside blindfolded and I opened my eyes to all the stars and a little glow in the dark sign that said ‘the observatory’. He told me to close my eyes again and switched the sign to one that said ‘marry me?’. The ring was hanging like a little star from the roof.”
