About the couple
Bride: Courtney Jones
Groom: Mick Harding
How they met: “Mick and I both worked in the same office. Our first date wasn’t exactly the romantic first date a girl dreams of, as Mick brought me out for chicken fingers and Pepsi at a local Boston Pizza. All things considered, it was at work over lunch break at the only lunch spot in the area,” explains Courtney.
Engagement story: “Mick had been out of town working and when he got home, he asked me if I wanted to go to Seattle, Washington for a weekend getaway. Of course, I agreed because I love Seattle! Once we checked into our hotel, Mick ducked out to go grab us some coffees, or so I thought. I later found out that he was out scouting for the perfect proposal spot and took the time to make a quick call to my mother, asking for her blessing before returning to the hotel. We had decided to go out for a nice dinner, so we both dressed up. It was a rather warm evening, however, Mick was insistent on wearing his snowboard coat along with his dress clothes and shoes. Unbeknownst to me, the jacket was to hide the ring box. We started walking along the ocean towards the restaurant, when Mick got down on one knee and pulled out the little blue Tiffany’s box,” says Courtney.
