How they met: “We met through friends,” says Emillie.

Engagement story: “I took Damian to Cuba for his birthday, and he promptly upgraded our regular room to a private villa (suspicious!). Near the end of our trip, we were having a relaxing day on the beach, and it was getting late. I told him I wanted to go back to have a quick nap and get ready for dinner, but he kept on stalling and convinced me to go for a walk on the beach. By the time we arrived back at our room, it was filled with candles and flowers, and he proposed to me… shockingly, since I looked like a jungle woman at that point with my knotty, salty hair,” explains Emillie.
