How they met: “I had moved from Swan River, Manitoba to the big city to take my first year of nursing at Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg. Brady and I were in a couple classes together. We did not know each other, but we did notice one another. Unbeknownst to me, Brady and his friend had spotted me, would talk about me to each other, and had nicknamed me “hot girl.” What Brady didn’t know is that my friend and I had also spotted him across the class and had nicknamed him “grey hat” because he was the hot guy on the other side of the room that always wore a grey Quicksilver hat and we always took note if he was there or not. One day a note was passed along the back row of psychology class from Brady (well, from Brady’s friend on behalf of Brady) to me and the rest is history,” says Bethany.
