How they met: “Aaron played in a band with my best friend/neighbour in high school. We started dating when I was 16 and Aaron was 18. We are high school sweethearts,” says Michelle.
Engagement story: “We were sorting laundry. Aaron demanded that I empty out the pocket of his jeans (as I typically forget to do so, and end up washing money, cheques, business cards, etc). As I was emptying the pockets, a ring fell out. I honestly thought it was costume jewelery. Aaron got down on one knee and proposed. I accepted,” explains Michelle. “Aaron was not aware that Ben Affleck in He’s Just Not That Into You already proposed in the exact same way. That’s what he gets for not watching rom-coms.”
