How they met: “We met in high school, we were even voted prom king and queen,” says Tammy.

Engagement story: “My best girl friends planned a trip to go visit our friend in Paris for a few weeks in the summer of 2009. One day, while we were walking through a tree-lined path in the Jardins du Palais Royale, I all of a sudden saw Alvin walking towards me. Then he got down on one knee. I was too shocked to see him in Paris to understand anything he was saying but had enough composure to say ‘yes’ to his proposal. It was the most romantic thing he has ever done and it was even more amazing that my best friends were there to share our moment (and get it all on tape!),” explains Tammy.
