How they met: “Even though we overlapped at Queen’s University from 2001-2004, Andy and I met at work in Toronto in 2008,” explains Stephanie. “Andy was a new teacher at Crescent School and I had been working there in the Advancement Department. It was instant! We were fast friends and then head over heels in love.”
Engagement story: “We had spent a very special winter weekend at a resort in Muskoka in 2009. Andy took me back to the same resort on a very wintery weekend in early 2010. He hid the ring under the couch and then popped down on one knee, catching me by surprise. We called Andy’s grandfather in B.C. first to share the news. We are so glad we chose him to be the first to hear the new –- unfortunately, he passed away a few months before the wedding,” says Stephanie.
