How they met: “We met doing business competitions together while in college. Leading up to the competition we spent tons of time together working on presentations, strategies and business cases,” explains Asia.

Engagement story: “For our one-year anniversary Steve took me to a very romantic resort, Wing Creek Resort in Kaslo, BC. Our first morning there Steve got up early and went down to the beach where Wing Creek meets Kootenay Lake and placed the ring box and a bottle of champagne with flutes on a big rock and got me out of bed. We went down to the beach and shortly after he got down on his knee and said, ‘Asia, I got you this box’ (it was a beautiful wood ring box!) How could I say no to that,” says Asia.
