How they met: “We met at a local restaurant in Winnipeg through friends,” says Alia.
Engagement story: “He showered me with flowers and gifts everyday for a full week prior to proposing on Valentine’s Day,” explains Alia. “As every day passed the gifts kept getting bigger and bigger! In fact, on Friday he delivered 100 long stem red roses to my work– I could barely carry them out! I suspected something was up but he always told me he would never propose on Valentine’s Day. That morning he got down on one knee and proposed.”
