Best moment: “We asked that each guest pick a flower and place it inside their centrepiece to honour my mom. I was so touched when I walked around the tent during the meal and saw all the centrepieces that the guests had created in honour of my mom,” says Heidi. “It was so special to me because I had been anticipating this detail for a long time.”

Wedding song: “The Thief” by Brooke Fraser. “Brooke is my favourite artist, and I love the lyrics and vibe of this song. We loved the acoustic feel and poetic words,” explains Heidi.

Favourite wedding detail: “The matching homemade gingham ties. We even gave a blue gingham tie to each of our ushers as a gift – so everyone was matching!,” explains Bryce.
