Best moment: “I would have to say my best moment was with my dad in the bridal room waiting to walk to the aisle,” explains Alayna. Jesse also says that his best moment was seeing Alayna and her dad walk down the aisle together.

Wedding song: “Healing Hands” by Citizen Cope. “The lyrics are about a couple where one person is in turmoil and how the other person helps them and makes it all better,” says Alayna. “It was extremely fitting for Jesse and I. I had just spent the better part of two years in the hospital fighting for my health. I have Crohn’s disease and was very ill. Almost too ill to attend my own wedding, but pulled through a couple months before the wedding day as if a miracle. I was still puffy from medication on my wedding day, but it didn’t matter, I was happy to have my health in order for my big day.”
