How they met: “We met at the rock climbing gym. I happened to meet one of his friends who Eric climbed with and so I ended up on their groups’ climbing e-mail list. It wasn’t too long before we were both “happening” to organize “group” climbs at times when, shockingly, nobody else could make it,” Ali smiles.
Engagement story: “Eric proposed to me on the last day of a family vacation in Maine. He took me down to the beach to see if the sand castle we had made the day before was still there. The sand castle had washed away, but it was the perfect chance for Eric to propose,” Ali shares.
