Lollipop Lollipop
I love hearing did you know facts. Because more than half the time, I don’t know. Yesterday I saw a fascinating tweet from foodimentary who tweeted:
Did you know that the lollipop was first patented in 1931? The name came from a famous race horse at the time, Lolly Pop.
I don’t know about you, but I found that fact so exciting. Inspired by my new found knowledge, I went on the hunt for the perfect lollipop wedding favour. Instead, I ended up getting sidetracked by Bakerella’s latest creation–ice cream cone cake pops, which I think are just as “cool” and amazing as lollipops. Yum!

These are adorable!
I’m confused! Haha! Do you just bake a normal cake and scoop bits of it once it’s cooked into the cone? Forgive my cake ignorance :)
@ Emily
You actually do not bake these ones with the cake inside :)
I make these all the time!
Aww those are cute! My friend made something similar for her 30th – I have no idea how you’d get them to stand upright in the oven while the cake baked!
