#947: Being able to incorporate cultural traditions into your celebration
Participating in cultural traditions is an awesome wedding idea. Not only will it impress your guests (especially your family members), but it’s definitely one brilliant way pay homage to your heritage. One tradition, which I think is awesome (and I’ve seen time and time again in various real weddings), is seeing grooms in a Scottish kilt–now that’s courageous and quite charming.

a couple of times I have added a piece of ribbon, matching the groom’s tartan, to the bride’s bouquet handle, as an accent, and even to the flower girl’s pomander ball, boutonniere’s and corsages. Just little touches here and there. Lots of fun:)
