#988: Learning that your wedding date at your dream venue is available

Over the last few weeks I’ve been venue shopping/hunting with my cousin (I’m one of her bridesmaids!). And, one of the most important things to her and her fiance was the wedding date. They’re engineers and so they chose (this is going to sound geeky!) October 1st, 2011 (01.10.11) which apparently has some form of binary coding involved–don’t ask me what, how or what those numbers mean because numbers and I don’t exactly get along. But that date is what makes them happy–so I’m happy for them! When they visited their “dream venue” and learned that the date they wanted was available they were completely ecstatic and I couldn’t help but bask in the glow as well–such was a moment that was too awesome for words.
