Pops of Fun
Posted March 17th, 2010 | 8:30 am | By Roseanne Dela Rosa |
I’m starting to think that cake pops, cheesecake pops, pretty much pops anything is starting to take over the dessert table (watch out cupcakes!). A few weeks back, Diana from Papillon Cakes surprised us with chocolate cake pops–just because (thank you Diana this made our day at the office!). And let me tell you, they were super-delicious. We all commented how the size was perfect and how easy it was to eat cake off a stick. If you’re looking for a unique twist to a dessert table, I think cake pops is one surefire way to jazz your sweets bar up.

Ooooh very pretty! A fried sent me some marshmallow pops in the mail the other day and I had to pass them on to David, since I gave up all sweets for Lent (and I’m being a good girl!), but I’m definitely trying some of the ideas out after Easter!
This looks like the trend this year and I’m enjoying the idea that guests can have the same portable treat as a cupcake without the mess of having to unwrap it :).
I have an idea brewing ;)! Thanks Rosie!
