Contest: The Wedding Singer

**CONTEST HAS CLOSED**

Thank you to all who entered, but the contest has now closed. Jenn Kenter is the lucky winner who will get to see the musical comedy this week!!

Who wants to see The Wedding Singer?! I’m sure you’re all pretty familiar with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore’s silver screen rendition. But, have you heard about the musical comedy? I just got wind that they are making their way to town (Toronto that is) this March, and will be playing at The Richmond Hill Centre on March 10th and 11th. We were lucky enough to score 2 pairs of tickets for the March 11th show to give away. If you’ve never seen the movie or heard about it, here’s the 411:

Laugh out loud as wannabe rock star Robbie Hart is everyone’s favorite wedding singer. He’s the life of the party until he gets jilted at the altar. So he vows to make every wedding as disastrous as his own. But then he meets Julia, a waitress who wins his heart – but she’s already engaged to a Wall Street shark! Can he win her heart before she says “I Do” or will it be too late?

It’s totally 80s from big hair to Billy Idol! If you love weddings and remember skinny ties, shoulder pads and leg warmers, you’ll fall in love with The Wedding Singer.

Could be a fun date night for you and your mister, or even a girls night with your MOH. Here’s how to enter:

All you have to do is leave your name with a comment below on why you’d like to see The Wedding Singer. The contest will close on Friday March 5th, 2010 at 12pm. Two lucky winners will be drawn at random and will win a pair of tickets each. Unfortunately, this contest is only open to those currently residing in Ontario. Good luck!

What a classic! I absolutely love seeing musicals, but unfortunately they don’t tend to fit in our pre-wedding budget. It was my Birthday yesterday and my fiance really wanted to take me to see a musical, but the tickets were just way too expensive and I ended up being very sick on my Birthday so we weren’t able to do anything at all. It would mean so much to me to get to go see The Wedding Singer as a belated romantic Birthday night with my hubby-to-be!
