Cake like Whoa…

Have any of you picked up the latest issue of People with Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa’s wedding? Er, yes I’ve been a closet fan of the Jonas Brothers, but we won’t reflect on that. Anywho, back to their wedding, the pictures were pretty insane. The two tied the knot at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, and the event was planned by Michael Russo of Roses-n-Lollipops (a well-known planner amongst celebs). But, the icing on the cake for me, was well, literally the icing on the cake. They had a Swarovski-crystal-studded, seven-tier cake with pistachio and chocolate mousse filling. Seriously! It was enormous and quite possibly huge enough to feed a tiny village. The Jonas’ have the caterers at Oheka Castle (who are best known for their über-grand cakes like the one pictured above) to thank for their deliciously blinged out cake. If you’ve got the budget to splurge check out some of Oheka Castle’s opulent confections.

Thanks for the comments ladies. Can’t wait to see you both blog about your cakes. ^_^
Loving the white cake with the multi-coloured flowers encircling the whole cake – so pretty! I think my fav. of those cakes would have to be the big present like cake with the beautiful pedestal.
OOo Emily! I’ll definitely need to get the dish about your cake topper during our lunch date next week – mine’ll be a DIY too :).
Thanks for the post as always Rosie!
Oh my gosh those cakes are immense!! Ours definitely won’t be that grand… but it will be pretty (and the best part about it will be our uber-nerdy cake topper which I’m DIYing and blogging about later in the contest :))
